Questions, answered
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A non-refundable 50% deposit of the total price for the style you choose is required to secure your appointment - it is deducted from the cost of your service.
What if I need to reschedule?
You can reschedule up until 48hrs before your appointment. Check your confirmation email, find the rescheduling link at the bottom of the page, and change your date or time. If there's no availability, send an email or text for further assistance. P.s. You can only reschedule ONCE.
Can I still come to my appointment if I feel unwell?
No. You must reschedule or cancel if you have any symptoms or feel unwell.
What happens if I cancel my appointment?
If you cancel, your deposit is non-refundable. If you decide to rebook, another deposit is required for your next appointment.
Do you work with all types of hair?
Yes. If you have any concerns - alopecia, bleached scalp, short or extra-long hair, thin or thick hair - book a consultation before booking, or send a photo first.
Do you provide the braid extensions?
Extensions are included in all braids prices. For remy extensions and crochet, check with the salon for the cost - those are not included. You can bring your own extensions for remy and crochets. We only accept pre-stretched hair for braid extensions.
What is the required hair length?
Your hair must be at least 4 inches or longer - 6 inches minimum for two Dutch braids.
Can I bring my kids or others to my appointment?
Please come alone - a Covid precaution, and kids get bored while waiting.
What happens if I'm late?
Contact in advance via email or SMS. $20 late fee if more than 15 minutes late; the appointment may be cancelled if more than 30 minutes late.
Is washing my hair required?
Yes. All clients must arrive with hair thoroughly washed and blow-dried (no damp hair), clean and dandruff-free.
How long will my service take?
Review the duration listed on your service. Times may extend depending on the client's hair or the hairstyle.
What if I don't show up?
You'll be required to pay 50% of the service booked, and you'll be unable to make future appointments online.
Where can I find the address?
It's in your confirmation email. We are located at 33 Hadfield Road, Harkness VIC 3337.
Can I arrive early?
If you arrive earlier than your appointment time, please send a text notification.
How do I pay the balance?
Balance can be paid by Cash, PayID or PayPal.
How should I come to my appointment?
Well rested, well dressed (bright colors), positive vibes, picture ready! Snacks welcome.
